We went looking for this tool. It didn't exist, so we built it.
figrd is a job-management platform for Australian trade businesses, built in Melbourne by a small team with backgrounds in manufacturing and software. It shows your real hourly rate while you build the quote, before you send it.
It started with a question we couldn't answer.
The trade software we looked at kept getting bigger, dearer and harder to set up - four-figure onboarding fees, per-seat pricing, modules nobody asked for. And after all of that, none of it could tell us the one thing we wanted before sending a price: what hourly rate does this quote actually pay us, once every cost is in?
In manufacturing, you don't price a machined part on gut feel - the materials, the machine time and the overhead are in the number before it goes on the quote. We thought trade businesses deserved the same, without hiring an analyst to get it.
So that's what figrd does: it works your own costs into every quote, before you commit to a price. Maths you can check, line by line.

Every number shows its working.
Every figure comes from your own inputs and sourced Australian reference data - state rego rates, super, tax thresholds. You can open any number and see where it came from, because a figure you can't check is a figure you can't trust. Where AI helps - drafting the wording of a quote, suggesting a message - it only ever writes a draft you approve. It never invents your numbers.
The admin runs itself - and answers to you.
Quote follow-ups, on-the-way texts, booking reminders and invoice follow-ups happen on their own from the first day. Every pending action is visible before it leaves, so nothing goes out without you seeing it, and you can pause any of it.
One fair price, everyone in.
No per-seat charges, no setup fee, no lock-in. Add an apprentice or a subcontractor without adding to the bill, and cancel any month you like. We would sooner earn the next month from you.

figrd is Australian-built and your data is held in Australia. Quotes and invoices go out from your own email address, so your customers see your own business on every quote and invoice. And when you delete something, it's deleted - not kept in an archive you can't see.
What's live today.
The quoting engine, jobs, scheduling, invoicing and the automated follow-ups are live. A native iOS app is next, with Android to follow.
